Skin Rejuvenation
Skin Rejuvenation
Skin rejuvenation is the process of improving the appearance, texture, and tone of the skin using medical-grade procedures or skincare products. It targets concerns such as:
Fine lines & wrinkles
Sun damage & pigmentation
Acne scars & large pores
Uneven skin tone
Dull, dry, or sagging skin
Redness & broken capillaries
Acne
Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil (sebum), dead skin cells, and bacteria. It often appears on the face, chest, back, and shoulders.
Age Spots
Age spots are flat, brown, gray, or black spots that usually appear on sun-exposed areas of the skin — especially the face, hands, shoulders, arms, and back. They are medically referred to as solar lentigines and are a form of hyperpigmentation caused by UV exposure and aging.
Rosacea
Rosacea is a long-term inflammatory skin condition that primarily affects the face. It causes redness, visible blood vessels, bumps, and sometimes eye irritation. Though anyone can get rosacea, it’s most common in:
Adults aged 30–60
People with fair skin, especially of Northern European descent
Women (though men may have more severe symptoms)
Varicose Veins
Varicose veins are enlarged, twisted, and often blue or dark purple veins that most commonly appear on the legs and feet. They occur when vein valves fail, allowing blood to pool rather than flow efficiently back to the heart.
They are often visible just under the skin and can range from cosmetic concerns to painful, swollen, or throbbing veins.
Spider Veins
Spider veins (also called telangiectasias) are small, thin, red, blue, or purple veins that appear just beneath the surface of the skin. They often resemble spider webs or tree branches, hence the name.
They are most commonly found on:
Legs
Face (especially around the nose and cheeks)
Ankles
Hemangiomas
A hemangioma is a benign (non-cancerous) growth of blood vessels. It often appears as a red or purple-colored birthmark on the skin, though it can also form deeper in the body. Hemangiomas are most common in infants and usually appear shortly after birth.
Melasma
Melasma is a common skin disorder that causes brown, gray-brown, or tan patches on the face, particularly the:
Cheeks
Forehead
Nose
Upper lip
Chin
It can also appear on sun-exposed areas of the forearms and neck.
Melasma is not harmful or contagious, but it can cause emotional or cosmetic concerns due to its appearance.
Skin Tags
Skin tags (medical name: acrochordons) are small, soft, benign (non-cancerous) growths of skin that often appear in areas where skin folds or rubs together.
They are usually:
Flesh-colored or slightly darker
Soft and round or oval
Attached to the skin by a small stalk (called a peduncle)
Painless and harmless
Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)
Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) refers to darkened patches or spots that appear on the skin after inflammation or injury. It’s a type of acquired hypermelanosis, where excess melanin is produced as a response to skin trauma.
It is not a scar, but a temporary discoloration.
